Mystic Falls | Telluride, Colorado

This little-known and elusive waterfall near Telluride, Colorado is a rare gem, hidden deep within a remote river gorge. Getting there was no easy feat, navigating through dense forest, climbing and descending rocky banks with my heavy camera pack weighing me down.

Once I finally reached the base of the waterfall, there was no one else around, no distractions— the light, still soft and golden, filtered in from above, illuminating the water’s cascade with an almost magical quality.

With perfect conditions for photography, I was able to capture an image that would remain uniquely mine, a rare moment of beauty frozen in time. This was more than just a photograph—it was an experience, one that allowed me to connect with the landscape and appreciate the fleeting nature of such pristine, untouched places.
