'Sunwapta Falls', a breathtaking waterfall photography print perfect for any room.

Perched on a cliffside in the biting cold, I framed this scene that I feel embodies the raw beauty of nature: Sunwapta Falls, a perfect specimen of symmetry. Here, the glacial waters of the Sunwapta River are momentarily calmed by a small, tree-covered island, poised gracefully at its center.

The name "Sunwapta," derived from the Stoney language, meaning "turbulent water," perfectly describes the essence of this natural waterfall. Situated along the iconic Icefields Parkway, approximately 53 kilometers south of Jasper, Alberta, the falls are a testament to the beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
