

The snowcapped Three Sisters in the Bow Valley of the Canadian Rockies receive their first kiss of morning sun while the spring meltwater cascades along the rocky creek below.
As some of the most prominent and beautiful peaks visible from the small mountain town of Canmore, the famous trio are named from left to right, Charity, Faith, and Hope.
In 1883 an overnight snowfall left the peaks with a veil of snow, after which surveyor Albert Rogers awoke and called them the 'Three Nuns', a name which was later changed to the 'Three Sisters'.
